It’s A Converging World: Innovative Partnerships As
Enablers of Precision Medicine World Wide
The convergence of healthcare and technology has and
will continue to lead to rapid advances towards the delivery of a more precise,
evidence-based form of medicine. One of
the many challenges associated with this evolution is our ability to actually
bring the medicines and tools necessary for this form of care to patients on a
global scale. In the past decade we have seen a growth in the use of
public private partnerships as a means of enabling the level of collaboration
that is necessary to address some of the more complex issues related to health
system performance. In this panel the moderators and panelists will share
their experiences and learnings related to employing partnerships between
public and private stakeholders to overcome the challenges associated with
delivering more personalized care in a global context. Panelists will
include representatives from industry, non-profit foundations, and
sector-specific associations involved in developing these innovative
collaborations around the globe.
